We are not just a salon. We are a destination. Colmado Wine + Beauty is Old Fourth Ward's full-service, non-toxic, no-tipping hair salon, built for every texture, every person, and every kind of beautiful.

What We Do

Whether you are here for a dramatic color transformation, a lived-in balayage, a precision cut, or your first silk press, our team has the training and the eye to deliver it beautifully. We specialize in all hair types: natural hair, curly hair, coily hair, textured hair, fine hair, color-treated hair, and everything in between.

Our services include:

— Hair color: balayage, highlights, full color, color correction, toning, glazing — Cuts: curly cuts, precision bobs, dry cuts, trims, shape-ups — Textured hair: silk presses, natural hair styling, braids, protective styles — Treatments: anti-frizz, bond repair, scalp treatments, deep conditioning — Extensions: tape-ins — Skin + lashes: custom facials, lash lifts, brow lamination, tinting

We use non-toxic hair color and styling products, because the health of your hair and scalp is not an afterthought. It is the foundation of everything we do.

And we are proudly no-tipping, because the value of your experience is already built into every appointment.

More Than a Haircut

The word colmado is Spanish for abundance, for that moment when your cup is so full it is about to overflow. That is the feeling we are after. Not just a good blowout (though yes, the blowout will be excellent). We are talking about the kind of experience that makes you walk out feeling like yourself, the best, most seen, most cared-for version of yourself.

We hold our work to the highest standards, but we are warm and approachable for every single person who walks through our door. There is no hair type we do not welcome. There is no question too basic. There is no "you should have done this sooner." There is just skilled, attentive, joyful service, from people who genuinely love what they do.

Something Beautiful Is Coming

In May 2026, Colmado gets even better.

We are opening a boutique wine bottle shop and flower bar right here in our Old Fourth Ward space. Imagine: your hair appointment ends, and you leave with a curated bottle of natural wine and a fresh bouquet of seasonal flowers. A little ritual. A full experience. A reason to linger.

Our wine shop will be thoughtfully curated, accessible for the curious, interesting for the enthusiast. Our flower bar will bring the beauty of botanicals into the salon in a way that feels completely, entirely right.

This is not just for our clients. It is for the whole neighborhood. Old Fourth Ward, this one is for you.
